Trusting God When Life Is Uncertain
Updated: Apr 19, 2025
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope💜
If you just look around, no matter where you look now it seems that uncertainty and difficulty is staring you right in the face. Let’s be clear it’s not just on the news anymore it's everywhere including your cell phones and it’s all over the internet, social media, and TV commercials it’s even in the music. With all of that I will definitely say that life looks uncertain and disappointing to the natural eye.
We serve a God that always keeps his promises and he sits high on a throne watching over all of us. He knows everything and he sees everything, God’s promises are not uncertain and he is not an uncertain God. Society wants to trick you and get you all upset and the main goal is to get you to stop believing and trusting in God, and that is definitely a trick of the enemy.

Uncertainty is very unsettling and unpredictable, to say the least.
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that no matter the circumstances God is and will always be in control even if you don’t see how or even if you don't believe that God sits high and looks low and he always protects his children.
We sometimes struggle with totally trusting God simply because we are not in control and we can’t control the outcome and the narrative or even know the timeline of the outcome. Surrender to God not the media and society, stop allowing the media and society to control the narrative. Stop worrying and start praying, trust God to lean on him and his understanding. Pray and Have Faith, when you look back on God’s history and his past faithfulness and his promises throughout the bible God never lies he always protects and provides.
Replace your fears and uncertainty with scripture and prayer, feel your heart and mind with the word of God, God is always working behind the scenes even if we can't see it you have to believe that he is working on your behalf, God hears your prayers and he watches over you daily. The bible tells us to Lean on him, Seek him first, He is very much aware of everything that is going on.
Please take a moment and share a time when God answered a prayer for you and or showed up for you unexpectedly.
Hugs, Love, and Blessing, Tamara
